Homecoming

Homecoming is sort of a big deal for our high school and community. Each year, there is a parade and so many of the kids check out of school to attend. The parade comes to the square, and the children line up to catch the candy thrown from the floats. Yesterday, I decided that I would take Scout to the parade since I will not be able to take her after this year, because I will be back to teaching. The theme for homecoming this year was Mardi Gras, so some beads were thrown as well! Then, last night we had dinner at a little place on the square and went to the game. Scout usually does pretty good at the football games but was a little fussy last night. We did make it through three quarters and listened to the fourth quarter on the way home. The final score was 24 - 14; The Rebels won! Here are a few pictures from our fun day . . . . . . . . .
