Week 39 Update

How far along: 39 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 45 pounds . . . .enough said!

Maternity clothes: Yes . . . .

Stretch marks: Three little ones now

Sleep: Much better this week!

Best moment this week: Our visit with Dr. Rivero on Monday

Movement: She has sort of slowed down a little bit. . . .

Food cravings: Nothing really

Gender: Girl . . . . Elizabeth "Scout"

Labor signs: We saw the doctor again on Monday . . . . .we are dialated to 4 and 80% effaced still. . . . .still no baby. And, I am still not have any major consistent contractions.

Belly button in or out: Finally flat . . . . . .

What I miss: Drinks . . . . Sonic has a new sparkling lemonade I am dying to try!

What I am looking forward to: Meeting Baby Scout; I can't wait for her to decide she wants to come!


Here is what Baby Scout is up to these days:

*Baby Scout is 273 days, and we are 97.5% through

*Baby Scout has about 7 days left in my belly and is FULL-TERM.

*Baby Scout is approximately 20 inches and about 6 pounds 16 oz (Baby Scout was 6 lbs. 2 oz. at her last ultrasound three Fridays ago) and should have gained about one ounce at day since then (that means she would weigh about 7 lbs. 5 oz. now).

*Baby Scout is about the same size as a watermelon (oh my!).

*Baby Scout is ready for in the outside world.
