In the meantime, Scout has been busy hanging around the house with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Shannon, and cousin Makayla. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to!
This past Saturday, Baby Scout lost her belly button stump (I think that is what you call it). We were all so glad she lost it before the newborn photo shoot on Sunday. Now, we are hoping it will heal in the next couple of days.
Since Baby Scout lost her belly button, we decided she could have her first real bath. Some girls from my school got her the cutest little bath seat, and it fits perfectly in our sink for the perfect bath spot. Baby Scout didn't love the water, since she hates being cold. But, when her bath was finished, she snuggled with Aunt Shannon. I think you can tell she loved this part of bath time.
Of course, we had to have pictures of her first photo shoot. You can see our sweet photographer, Jessica, taking our family's picture.
Mommy and Aunt Shannon had to take a little trip to Wal-Mart so mommy could get out of the house for a little bit. Besides picking up a few other things, we found this cute Glowworm. This thing is so fancy compared to the Glowworm I had when I was little. It lights up and plays music.
Baby Scout had her first tummy time session on Saturday. She liked the time on her tummy and worked hard to raise her head.
Sometimes, Baby Scout just likes to listen to Mommy, Daddy, or Aunt Shannon read her a book or two. She really likes the one with the kitties at the end. This is her favorite.
Baby Scout also likes to hang out with her stuffed animals. Can you spot her?
