Sunday School

This past Sunday, we took Scout on her first official outing (not including the doctor). We ventured off to our church for Scout's very first time in Sunday School. Of course, she stayed with us in our Sunday School class, and she will do this for awhile. It was an especially exciting day, because two new babies made their debut. Scout was born Thursday, May 20th and Adelyn was born Sunday, May 23rd. Here are some pictures of this exciting event.

Here are the two precious girls that made their Sunday School debut. Adelyn (notice her sweet praying hands) is the daughter of Ray and Shannon and little sister to Sarah. She is the baby in front. Scout is sleeping peacefully in the back. We are grateful for the sweet babies in our Sunday School class. It will be fun when Brayden (another baby with parents in our class) comes to Sunday School, and we can take pictures of all three of these precious children.

I love this picture of the two girls holding hands. Aren't they so sweet?

Here is our wonderful Sunday School teacher, Lucy, holding Scout. Do you see what a sweet smile she is giving Lucy? I would be smiling if Lucy was holding me too!

A few friends in our class wanted to hold Scout and Adelyn. Here is Heather holding Scout. She also held Adelyn as well, but I didn't get a picture of that.

Here is a picture of me holding Adelyn while chatting with her mom Shannon. She was such a sweetie!

Here are Shannon and I with the two girls. You also see sweet big sister, Sarah, next to Baby Adelyn. She was so sweet to entertain both girls with a perfect rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". I think the girls enjoyed it very much. Thank you, Sarah!

In other news, Baby Scout made her second visit to the doctor today. She has grown a whole inch and is now up to 20 1/2 inches. She also had great weight gain. She now weighs 8 pounds and 5 ounces. She is growing girl. Dr. Mangru said everything looked fantastic and that he would see her at two months for her first shots :( We hope we don't have to visit him between now and then.
